Linda Sheffield is a criminal defense litigator whose office is in Atlanta, Georgia. Linda represents clients in post conviction law including habeas petitions and appeals. She is known by inmates throughout the Federal Bureau of Prisons and Georgia Department of Corrections for her success in helping clients convicted of federal or state crimes. Her areas of concentration include direct criminal appeals, habeas corpus '2255 and '2241 petitions, parole hearing representation, Federal Bureau of Prisons medical care and administrative remedies.
For over 25 years, Linda has worked with clients and she prides herself on a tireless work ethic. Her federal and state cases range from Drug Crimes, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), White Collar Crimes, Violent Offenses, and Theft Offenses as they relate to Direct Appeals, Post Conviction Matters, and Federal Bureau of Prisons Administrative Matters.
Linda is admitted to practice in all Georgia State Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States Courts of Appeal in the following Circuits: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th and the United States Supreme Court.
Linda is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL) and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).

Linda is Secretary for the Southeastern Greyhound Club in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been an active volunteer for retired racing greyhound rescue for several years and owns three former racers: Dory's Party On "Gus", Laurel Lambert "Laurel", and Fatpat Rochester "Fatpat".
